More On Ayampe Scammers - The Walkers

AYAMPE SWINDLERS - JOHN WALKER & DIXIE DAVEY (WALKER)

“First consider a group which takes in money but does not deliver anything in exchange. This is called rip-off."         L. Ron Hubbard

I HOPE EVERYONE IS STARTING TO RECOGNIZE THE FACES OF THE WALKERS! The smiles they display are false and cunning. They are, quite simply, crooks of the lowest kind.

When I was a kid growing up in Atlanta, GA, I loved the song “For the Love of Money” by The O’Jays.  Listening to that song recently, the lyrics of the song remind me of people like the Walkers. Some lyrics in the song go like this:

For the love of money
People will steal from their mother

For the love of money
People will rob their own brother

For the love of money
People will lie, rob, they will cheat

For the love of money
People don't care who they hurt or beat

As I said in the last BLOG, as they were perpetrating
their scam, the Walkers continually insured investors and potential investors
that they were trustworthy and that the money was going to be securely invested
in a REAL project.

Again, prior to us investing with these crooks, John Walker wrote this on Feb. 17, 2009:

“PS. This is a great deal, but it doesn’t yet have all the I’s dotted and T’s crossed. That will happen be when the Trust has been created and the titles are issued. It’s a risk/reward relationship with a 100% money-back return if two conditions are NOT met:

1.       All 10 front lots in the “special deal” have been sold
2.       Unencumbered titles are issued and transfered to the buyer”

Then, on Feb 20, 2009, John Walker wrote:

“Cedric

Today we met again with Morgan & Morgan. We are arranging to have an escrow account in Panama. We will need you to urgently do the paperwork and get it to Morgan& Morgan. I will find out the details tomorrow. We want to be fully secure in what we offer at the conference. Your funds help us do that.

Cedric, I hope you understand that we have no desire to screw you or change our deal.”

When the Walkers announced to us on Jan 3, 2010, that they had taken all of our and the investors money without as even a shack being put in place, they did not ever explain where the money went. To date, the Walkers still HAVE NOT offered any resolution or accounting of the money.

Like many times in life, looking in retrospect things become clearer. The fact that the Walkers were running a scam is now evident.

FACTS
  • Gary Phillips was completely involved with promoting and selling the Ayampe Project as I previously mentioned. On Feb 6, 2009, he sent the following email to one of the investors:
On Fri Feb 06 10:13:51 2009, the following results were submitted from the "Contact" on pro-ecuador.com: Thank you for your interest in the Ayampe Beach project.  Please review the letter below and the attached flyer.  After you read this information, if you feel you want to pursue this project further, please send me an email by return with your full name and contact information.

I will pass your contact information along to John (see below) and he will be in contact with you.  We are sharing a sales commission in this project with John, and I ask you to honor my first contact with you.  I will be available throughout the project to help with any questions you may have about the project, Ecuador, etc.

  • The Walkers were taking in investors’ money long after they knew the project was kaput. The last known investor that I know for sure that sent funds to these crooks, deposited their money on Sept. 2, 2009. Six FULL months after the Walkers claimed to have sold all “special lots” in the FREE HOUSE scam.
  • The last investor above was also directed by Dixie Davey Walker to deposit her funds into a Banco Pichincha account in Panama (Account Number:23119683) with reference to Eco Ecuador Living Corp. As I mentioned in the first BLOG, all other investors sent their money to Banco Pichincha in Ecuador. So is all of the stolen money now located in the Panama bank account???
  • The Walkers were still advertising FREE house lots for $10,000 deposit on Oct. 31, 2009. Dixie Davey Walker posted the following on their website (it has since been removed; however, I have every single Ayampe post they posted but have since removed):

Hola All

Ayampe Update

Update on the Ayampe development as asked by so many of you who write in to me.

“The Ayampe development is finally finally on the home stretch. Agreements with the land owner will be signed very soon, and we will start development. The first step is the soil testing and we will be having group meetings to gain consent on architectural style. Our commitment is to provide our average cost of construction, but if you want gold plated fittings, then you need to pay the extra.

As a result of some of the changes, we are going to sell another only two special lots – that include FREE homes.

Our original offer was $65,000 for a 1,700 m2 lot and we would also start including FREE 300 m2 houses once we reached 50% of the development (1st in gets served first). That was before the sub-division titles were issued, so there was a lot more risk involved.

For various reasons (land owners prerogative) we now need to sell some more of these “specials”. There will be a substantial condo development, so this will subsidize the FREE homes.

However, the price has now gone up to $100,000 (for 1,700 m2) but we still supply the equivalent of a 300m2 house. Your house will be on a front lot, the second floor will look over a mangrove lagoon to the ocean. There are only TWO lots available for TWO LUCKY PEOPLE.

Don’t miss out. This is a wonderful development on the Pacific coast of Ecuador. For more details you can go to www.eco-ecuador-living.com or email john.walker@becomingyounger.com.”

Hope this has been informative to you all and I am also going to be sending out a Newsletter in regards to apartments here in Cuenca that I seem to be getting more and more emails about.
Ciao for now
Dixie

Now how many of these last “two lots” they sold is unknown. But consider that they themselves had declared that they were no longer working with Ruy Quevedo, why would they say they were selling two more specials at “land owners prerogative”???

Make no mistake about it! The Walkers are swindlers and con artist. DO NOT do business with or trust these people.

Unfortunately for us all, a small portion of society is dedicated to getting something for nothing. These thieves say, "You owe me a living," "I must take what I can before someone takes it from me," "I deserve a free ride."
